Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 8, 2026
1. Introduction
Your privacy and rights are important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, manage, store, and use your information when you visit our website. This Privacy Policy is between you and the following organization:
- Company Name: Startupsole LLC
- Website: EntitySearch.us
- Address: 30 N Gould St. Ste 22383, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA
- Email: info@entitysearch.us
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you interact with our website:
- Network Activity: Browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our website or advertisements.
- Technical Data: We may collect your IP address, device ID, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and other log information.
- Analytics Events: We measure interactions such as page views, business search form usage, official database link clicks, and affiliate link clicks. We do not send the business name entered into our search form to Google Analytics.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, banking details, or exact GPS locations without explicit consent.
3. Chrome Extension
The EntitySearch.us Business Name Checker Chrome extension is designed as a shortcut to open relevant EntitySearch.us state guide pages. The extension stores only your last selected state in Chrome storage so the popup and selected-text shortcut can remember your preference. It does not call LegalZoom, Apify, official state databases, or our live search API directly. It does not run its own analytics inside the extension.
When the extension opens an EntitySearch.us page with a prefilled business name, the website removes business-name query parameters from Google Analytics page-view URLs. Business names entered into the website search form are not sent to Google Analytics event parameters.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our website functionality.
- To improve user experience and analyze website traffic.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To serve relevant advertisements through third-party partners.
- To comply with legal obligations and law enforcement requests.
5. Cookies Policy
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the website and understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics 4 may set or access analytics cookies and collect technical information such as page URLs, device and browser details, approximate location derived from network information, and interaction events. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. You may also use Google's Analytics opt-out tools where available. Blocking analytics cookies should not prevent access to the site's public guides.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We DO NOT sell your personal information. However, we may share your data with:
- Analytics Service Providers: Google Analytics 4 helps us measure website traffic and interactions. Google's handling of data is governed by its own terms and privacy policies.
- Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate our website and provide services.
- Advertising Partners: Third parties that help us serve advertisements (e.g., Google AdSense, affiliate programs).

We only recommend services we believe provide genuine value to users forming a business entity.
9. Security
We implement reasonable electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information. However, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
